Matt Lindstrom pitched one inning tonight. He threw 13 pitches and ten were strikes. he gave up one hit, but other than that looked great. His command looked good, but his velocity wasn't quite there. He was throwing fastballs between 95 to 97 MPH, slightly below his 98-99 MPH top speed. "I was throwing good breaking balls," Lindstrom said of Sunday's outing.

Nothing was said about Lindstrom getting the closer job, what is clear so far, he's won't be closing jobs right away.
