Last night, Carlos Villanueva recorded his first save of the season for the Brewers.  This was after the Brewers and Ken Macha told us that Trevor Hoffman wasn't going to close for the next two days to work on his stuff.  Well, he threw a side session and realized he still stinks. 

On the flip side, Carlos Villanueva looked great.  He threw a perfect inning against Pittsburgh to secure the 4-3 win.  That is what Macha is looking for and he will continue to send Villanueva as long as he is successful.  It's not officially his job yet, but I feel it's his to lose.

Go pick up Carlos Villanueva ASAP.  He will at least close to LaTroy Hawkins comes back from the DL, but if he is very successful he'll keep the job.
